FAQ's

The “responsible person” is who compliance tasks are assigned to. This person is the point of contact for all compliance activities, tasks, and systems. We suggest the responsible person is most likely the person who would have previously filled in the dairy diary. For example, on a farm with an owner and a sharemilker, it is much more likely the sharemilker would have this role as it is the sharemilker who is the point of contact for the diary. The owner can be a user in the system, and it is easy for the owner to see the tasks, such as plant checks (and can even complete them).

NOTE: Only one user can be the Responsible Person, but all users are able to action and complete compliance tasks.

No you cannot assign compliance tasks to different users. You can only re-assign the tasks you have created

You do not have to keep all your records in FarmScope. Farms may use different systems for record keeping, such as Minda or Trakmap. During your setup process simply specify what system you will be using for the different record types. Compliance reporting will not include any records not specified as being captured in FarmScope.

FarmScope handles Animal Treatments by categorizing animals under three statuses. These are under treatment, under withholding and returned to herd. However, withholding periods are automatically pre-prepopulated from the medicine database which means that once the “clear by date” is in the past, the “Return to vat date” can be entered.

The Milking Roster has been added to FarmScope to help manage milking duties and assign them to available staff members. Initially the milking roster must be set taking into account two parts: Roster availability (defines whether a staff member is available for roster) and Roster setup (creating the farm duties that will be assigned to the users). More information can be accessed here

Not necessarily. Monthly Stock Numbers is a not compliance nutrient recording option under farm setup. This nutrient recording is entirely left to the farmers choice.
